Tamiflu is an anti-viral medicine used for treating influenza infections that are caused by the virus types A and B. It is not used for treating common cold. Tamiflu is available in both tablet (capsule) and liquid form, which are taken with or without food. The recommended dosage of Tamiflu is 75 mg twice daily for 5 days. In case a dose is missed, the patient must not take 2 doses together or in close succession.
